Elderberry Iced Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
1 tsp matcha powder
1/4 cup hot water (not boiling)
1 cup milk of choice (we used pure harvest almond milk)
30ml elderberry syrup (adjust for sweetness)
Ice
Instructions:
Prepare the Matcha: In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy. A bamboo whisk or electric frother works best!
Add Ice. Then pour over elderberry syrup
Assemble the Latte: Pour the milk over the syrup, then top with matcha.
Enjoy: Give it a gentle stir and sip your way to wellness!
Elderberry Muffins
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour1/2 cup sugar1 tablespoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 cup milk1/2 cup elderberry syrup1/4 cup melted butter1 egg1 cup fresh or frozen berries (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.In another bowl, whisk together the milk, elderberry syrup, melted butter, and egg.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the berries if using.Spoon the batter into a lined muffin tin.Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Elderberry Cocktail
Ingredients:
30ml elderberry syrup30ml vodka or gin15ml fresh lemon juiceSparkling waterIce
Instructions:
In a shaker, combine elderberry syrup, vodka, and lemon juice with ice.Shake well and strain into a glass over ice.Top with sparkling water and garnish with a lemon slice or fresh berries.
Elderberry Ice Cream Topping
Ingredients:
1/4 cup elderberry syrupVanilla ice cream
Instructions:
Warm the elderberry syrup slightly in a saucepan or microwave.Drizzle over vanilla ice cream.Add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
